Note the agglomeration of non-descripit properties lining the promentory across the bay. Also the quality steel railing with glass inserts in the foreground and the somewhat elevated topography in the distance. I have posed this query to quite a number of travel agents, both domestic and foreign, with no answer forthcoming.
Some people have had trouble with the link…

If you copy the link and open it in a new window, it should work OK.

Iraq Or Afghanistan, Which is the Best Tactical Location for the USA?

Thursday, November 27th, 2008
OK, first the premise that there is a war against Islamic terrorism (whether we like it or not since the Islamic terrorists have declared war on the USA)
Between the two fronts, Iraq and Afghanistan, which is more suitable for the USA to fight the terrorists (taking into consideration topography of the land and urban population centers)
IOW, if it was possible to choose, which location should the military prefer that the Islamic terrorists gather.

How creative does your imagination have to be for you to believe we will win in Afghanistan?

Thursday, November 27th, 2008
Afghanistan has been known as the tomb grave for great empires and has been fighting invaders since Alexander the great, besides Afghanistan mountainous topography, to which the Taliban have adapted very well remains an obstacle against any terrestrial invasion which is necessary to win any war… Thus U.S. can fight their till doomsday and won’t achieve anything other than more job loss and more economic failure, the only solution for U.S. is to pull back the troops back to U.S. and give people tax cuts, we are broke as it is.

Topography help please?

Thursday, November 20th, 2008
Can a contour line on a topographic map connect a point with a elevation of 100 feet to a point with an elevation of 110 feet? Explain why or why not.

On a topographic map, how would you show an island in the ocean with an elevation of 80 feet if the contour interval is 10 feet?

How could a person lost at sea use the Global Positioning System to find out where he or she is?

What are interior angle traverses best suited for?

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008
Some possible choices I was given are: 1) route surveys, 2) property surveys of high precision, and 3) stadia topography

If you know the answer could you please tell me the source so that I can access it because I need to cite it because its for my civil engineering class assignment.

My doctor tells me the veins of my eyes are torturous. What could that mean?

Monday, November 17th, 2008
I have blurry vision for the last 3-4 months. The doctor first asked me to get a Vision Field Test done, the results came out perfect. I now have to get a Corneal Topography Test.
The doctor hasnt told me anything yet…he just mentioned that my eye veins are torturous.

Which high-paying professions require the least amount of human interaction?

Monday, November 17th, 2008
Seemingly every job in today’s service-based economy entails dealing with people around-the-clock. Even my current occupation, which my old college career counselor said would be “the perfect fit” for me (after I took one of those career assessment tests), entails a lot more human interaction than I had originally anticipated. Introverted since day one of kindergarten, I absolutely loathe dealing with people – especially rude, inconsiderate people, whom I encounter almost on a daily basis. While I am not considering a career change just yet, I am uncertain as to whether I want to continue down this career path for the next forty years. Ideally, I would like to work in a research-oriented profession that does not involve giving lectures or speeches, conducting interviews, or working in teams. My academic interests include, but are not limited to: astronomy, meteorology, topography, climatology, zoology, ecology, geology, geography, archaeology, and history.

Thank you for your time.
