I’m doing a report on Cyprus.do you know what site is best for research?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009
I’m in the sixth grade, so it is about a seven-fifty to one thousand word report. I can’t find any sites that have good, descriptive information on the median temperatures or topography. I need to get it done by the third (US time), or I am going to flunk history and get detention AND be grounded. Cheerful. So please help!!!
I have checked wikipedia, the cia website, askjeeves, EVERYTHING.

Age as evidence for plate tectonics theory?

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009
I’m doing a project and I have to present the California State Standard that says Students know that features of the ocean floor (magnetic patterns, age, and sea-floor topography) provide evidence for plate tectonics…

I’m using powerpoint to present it. But, i was going to divide it all up into magnetic patterns, age, and sea-floor topography…in which I soon realized that they all relate to each other so I can really break them into different groups…but I need to some how because I already have a lot of slides that have to do with magnetic patterns on the ocean floor.

what are different things that I could put about age and the ocean floor in my powerpoint???

what plate is the island chain on? what is the topography of the surrounding sea floor?

what is unique about the island chain? what are some of the features of the land or sea? what are some unique features of the climate? what interesting fact do you need to know about the island chain?

Is the dark, hard soil in crawl space called clay? Is it always damp?

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009
We’ve put a contract on a house. But we just found the soil in crawl space is dark and hard, not like the sand in our friends’ crawl spaces. Does it mean the topography of this house is lower? Does this kind of soil tend to be damp all the time? I could feel some moisture down the crawl space. Would you buy a house with this kind of soil in the crawl space? Thanks for your expertise!!!
